Sigiriya is located in the Central Province of the Island, Sigiriya Rock Fortress is one of Asia’s major archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.The area containing of Sigiriya and its closet cities are known as the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka, due to their rich history and legacy to the culture of the country. Look in to the ruins of ancient kingdoms and temples of old, but also be prepared to experience the wonderful scenery and nature of the area from herds of elephants to a myriad of migratory birds.

Ramboda Falls considered as one of the most beautiful water falls in Sri lanka.

This unique and beautiful Ramboda falls sight can be seen at the Pussellawa area of Nuwara Eliya, at the Ramboda Pass. The Ramboda Falls in Sri Lanka or Ramboda Ella or Puna Ella as these falls are called is created from Puna Oya, a tributary of Kothmale Oya. It makes a twin with Dunsinane Falls which is created by Pundalu Oya, also a tributary of Kothmale River, and combines at the base to form a Y shape.

Some of the most popular sites to explore Nuwara Eliya are Ramboda waterfall, Tea plantations, Gregory lake, Victoria park… Etc.

Day 12 - Departure

An opportunity will be provided for you to spend some free time in the morning. You will be transferred back to airport and dropped off at the Bandaranaike International Airport in time for your flight (at least 2-3 hours before your flight. If not, you have the option of being driven to your choice of destination.
